My retirement gift to myself.
After a career as a coach and teacher, I purchased a week at Big River Camps as my retirement gift to myself. I had fished points south of Big River multiple times and had success, but always left thinking there had to be more … at Big River, I found “more.” More salmon … more powerful salmon and far more aggressive salmon (because Big River fish are so fresh) and more of the kind of people, from Judy to the guides to the staff, that makes Big River the rare fishing experience that has so much more of everything. Oh, and did I mention that every salmon was caught on the surface?
